What began as a simple chair sized net at my friend’s house, turned into this sprawling experimental weave that I tackled on and off for a couple months. The main idea was to suspend three central rings with spokes going into them, finished with a “triple figure eight” cross weave. I originally thought this technique would save time but in reality, it ended up taking significantly longer than usual since the spoke tension was so hard to consistently nail down.
Despite that, it remains one of my favorite nets and remains the centerpiece hangout spot whenever we’re in the backyard.
