Net ramp to a secret oak hideout

The idea for this project was to create a secret spot up in an oak tree for my client’s daughter to hang out and read. The problem was that the climb up there was two exposed oak trunks over their driveway. The solution was to weave a sloped net between the trunks, complete with rings to act as foot and hand holds for climbing. The ramp then led to a portal which opened into the net, big enough for my client’s daughter and one of her friends to hang out.

I had fun adding an extra feature which was a basket on a pulley so you can have both hands free when climbing up into the net.

If you want to see the pulley in action, check out a reel I posted here.
