Casa Narauni Tree Net Retreat

A small-group retreat in the forests of northeastern Italy

For four days in April 22nd-26th, we’ll gather in an alpine valley near the Slovenian border, stay together in a family-run home, and spend our days weaving nets in the trees, sharing meals, and settling into a grounded daily rhythm together.

What We'll be Doing

• Learning how to weave a net from start to finish including everything from knots to tensioning the perimeter to tree protection

• Plenty of time for practice, questions and feedback

• Meals prepared locally

• Lodging in a renovated alpine cabin

• Exploring the surroundings including forests, waterfall, biking and on site spring

• Ample time to rest, wander and follow your curiosity

The Rhythm of the Retreat

The first evening, everyone will arrive and we'll share a welcome dinner together then the next day, we'll have a morning to settle into the place before lessons begin in the afternoon. The following days, we'll settle into a steady rhythm of dedicated time for instruction and free time to put the ideas into practice, taking the time to share lunch and dinners together. On the final day, we'll eat together once more before heading our separate ways.

The Place

We’ll be staying in a family-run home tucked into a quiet alpine valley near the Slovenian border, surrounded by forest, water, and long walking paths that connect the house to the surrounding land.
